It all started when Kate was fired the week of her wedding due to discrimination for pregnancy and breastfeeding. I thought to myself, "What am I going to do now? I just planned our own wedding, twice - since we switched locations from Kentucky to NH and that's when RUSTIK EVENTS came to be.

Since then it has evolved into much more. My self-appointed breastfeeding advocacy work has really taken off. That's when we created The Rustik Baby Project. The Boston Globe section cover story put us on the map and opened so many paths for us.

The Rustik Baby Project is primarily related to breastfeeding policy, but also includes other causes related to healthy living. View additional pages on our site for more info.
